Mahroz Hekmati

Based in Lewes, UK, Mahroz Hekmati is a vitreous enamel artist and jeweller specialising in handmade enamel jewellery, traditional enamelling techniques, and miniature painting on enamel. Her practice began in 2017 through her graduate project at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, and has since evolved into a dedicated exploration of this historic and highly specialised craft. Informed by the natural world and the artistic traditions of her Persian heritage, her work brings together intricate craftsmanship, vibrant colour, and the refined beauty of silver and gold — resulting in one‐of‐a‐kind handmade jewellery and enamel art objects imbued with cultural meaning and individual expression.
